This page explains what personal information I collect when you shop with Little Robins Workshop, why I need it, and how I look after it. Little Robins Workshop is run by Alexandra Moseley, who is responsible for your information. If you have any questions, email hello@littlerobinsworkshop.com.
What I collect
When you place an order, I collect your name, email address, delivery address and, if you choose to give it, your phone number. I also keep a record of what you ordered, any notes you add, and the details you give me for a personalised or made-for-you piece. If you email me or reply to a proof, I keep those messages too.
If you add photos to a made-for-you piece, I use them only to draw your artwork. They can only be seen by me, and they’re deleted automatically after 6 months. If you send a gift, I’ll also have the recipient’s name and address, and any gift message you write.
Your card details are entered directly into Stripe’s secure payment form. They never reach me or this website.
How I use it
I use your information to take payment, make and post your order, send you proofs to approve, update you about your order, and answer any questions you have. I also keep order records because the law requires me to for tax and accounting.
I don’t send marketing emails, and I never sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who helps me
A few trusted companies help me run the shop, and they only use your information to provide their service to me:
- Stripe takes your payment and stores your order details.
- Royal Mail, or occasionally another courier, receives your name and address to deliver your parcel.
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
- IONOS provides my email, so it holds any emails we exchange.
Some of these companies may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use the safeguards UK law requires.
How long I keep it
I keep order records for as long as tax law requires, which is usually six years, and then delete them. Emails are kept for as long as they’re useful for answering questions about your order.
Cookies and your browser
This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Your basket, and your last order number on the Track my order page, are saved in your own browser so they’re still there when you come back. This information stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it where I don’t need to keep it by law. Just email hello@littlerobinsworkshop.com.
If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, please tell me so I can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
